Pre-analytical - The receipt process The receipt process of specimen kits revolves around several check points : package and sample integrity sample temperature at reception and during transportation required documentation correctly completed At reception, the following information is individually recorded for each specimen kit in a specialized database : demographic data frequency of visits date and time of specimen requested analysis optional analysis After the data entry phase, a bar-coded is edited and allocated to each element of kit for identification and optimal traceability in the processes which will follow. The recognition of these bar-coded by our machines ensures a protected and rapid integration of results in our database.
